Architect Vilhelm Lauritzen originally designed the VL38 light for the Danish broadcasting company's headquarters building in Copenhagen, known as the Radiohuset (now home to the Royal Danish Academy of Music).
This simple, functional and elegant design was originally produced by Louis Poulsen and has now been reissued to Lauritzen's design specification, in its original form.
Supplied with 3.3m plastic-covered cord. Brass switch on the lampstand.Two light levels.

Materials
The VL38 has an organically-shaped shade made of spun aluminium, powder-coated shade and obliquely angled to direct light downwards and provide illumination without glare.
The shade is white within to ensure a soft and comfortable light is issued. The brushed brass stem is hinged just above the shade to enable adjustment of the light head.
Ideal for use as a task light or for more general illumination.
Light source (included): 9.6W LED 2700K.
