The 7 Fauteuil Tournant chair was designed by Charlotte Perriand in 1927 for her flat in place Saint-Sulpice, Paris. This small armchair was first exhibited at the 1928 Salon des Artistes Décorateurs in the Salle à Manger 28, and subsequently at the 1929 Salon d’Automne. The flexible design of this chair allows it to be used as a dining, side or executive chair.

The frame is made from steel that can be enamelled in the colours semi-gloss black, grey, light blue, green, taupe, ivory or brown, or polished chrome. The chair can be upholstered in fabrics and leathers from the following collections:
